Nestling in the midst of rolling Yorkshire countryside, Middleton Lodge and its 250 acre Georgian estate offers the perfect setting for a traditional country wedding party – with a slightly modern twist. 
At the Lodge we can hold Civil Ceremonies for up to 120 guests, Receptions in the house can seat up to 46 dinner guests and marquee wedding between 65 and 180 dinner guests.
The Lodge has its own wedding license, vast grounds, numerous spaces for eating and drinking, and 17 individually designed bedrooms. We hope you make yourself at home and treat the Lodge as your own country mansion for the duration of your stay. At the Lodge we specialise in weekend weddings and our wedding packages are meant to be a guide rather than set in stone. We can tailor most things to your requirements and love it when couples take the Lodge for two nights. That way you really do get to enjoy the Lodge at its best and make it your own.
From early spring onwards the grounds at the Lodge come into their own. Barbeques on the terrace on a Friday night, drinks receptions on the lawns and making the most of the outside space is a must. Our private parkland with striking vistas creates the perfect backdrop for photos, whilst your guests can enjoy the outside space to its full.Smaller weddings can then take over the house and larger functions head to the marquee, which you can decorate in whatever style you want.
Starting in the house with roaring fires, Christmas decorations, mulled wine & winter Pimms, the Lodge can be a truly magical place in the winter months. The Marquee creates a stunning venue for any Christmas wedding with its starcloth backdrop, candles and Christmas trees.
